Getting to Sydney city centre can be easier if you do it by taxi.

To get to them, you just need to follow the signposts distributed throughout any of the three terminals. In each Terminal taxi ranks, there are supervisors who will look after you on peak times to ease the flow of taxis.

The average time to get to the city centre is 20 minutes, which will depend on traffic.

$55.00 to Circular Quay (one way)
$45.00 to Central (one way)

(There’s a 20% surcharge from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, on weekends there is an extra $2.50 added to the surcharge).

Please take into consideration the following premises:

- Airport toll is $4.25. If you wish to get to Circular Quay, freeway toll is $6.88.

- There is a 150% standard fee by using a Maxi Taxi with more than 5 passengers.

- Taxi drivers are not allowed to pick up passengers away from taxi ranks, they can be fined with AU$5,000 if they do so.
